Shoji Window Screen Treatment for Park Avenue Residence

Precious Pieces restored 38 pieces of wood-framed handcrafted shoji screens situated in an apartment owned by a former board member of the Asia Society. The torn and yellowed papers in these time-worn screens were replaced with Precious Pieces washi. Our specialized craftsmen also restored the faded and warped wood frames and replaced hardware. The rooms look much brighter and reborn.
