Window Maker Live is an installable Linux Live ISO based on the current Bookworm branch of Debian. The system uses the Window Maker window manager as the default graphical user interface. Window Maker Live's components have been carefully preconfigured and the desktop environment has a consistent visual appearance. Window Maker Live integrates selected components from other desktop environments such as XFCE4, MATE, LXQT, with a particular focus on GNUstep. The main idea behind this project is to integrate the Window Maker window manager as default user interface on top of a standard Debian/Bookworm base system. It also serves as an alternate installation medium for Debian/Bookworm. The second main idea not directly visible on the surface level is the inclusion of many useful command line utilities and tools for system administration. This effectively turns wmlive into a UNIX administrator's workbench for rescue and repair operations. -

This project provides a free Raspbian-based Raspberry Pi image with Homebridge and Homebridge Config UI X pre-installed. This image also provides a command called hb-config which helps you keep Node.js up-to-date, perform maintenance on your Homebridge server, and install additional optional software such as Pi Hole and deCONZ. The Homebridge service is installed using the method described in the Raspberry Pi Installation Guide on the Homebridge project wiki. The easiest way to flash the Homebridge Raspberry Pi Image to your SD card is to use the Raspberry Pi Imager. Raspberry Pi Imager will now download and flash the latest version of the Homebridge Raspberry Pi Image to your SD card, this may take several minutes depending on the speed of your internet connection and SD card. The Homebridge UI web interface will allow you to install, remove and update plugins, and modify the Homebridge config.json and manage other aspects of your Homebridge service. -

Neofetch is a command-line system information tool written in bash 3.2+. Neofetch displays information about your operating system, software and hardware in an aesthetic and visually pleasing way. The overall purpose of Neofetch is to be used in screen-shots of your system. Neofetch shows the information other people want to see. There are other tools available for proper system statistic/diagnostics. The information by default is displayed alongside your operating system's logo. You can further configure Neofetch to instead use an image, a custom ASCII file, your wallpaper or nothing at all. You can further configure Neofetch to display exactly what you want it to. Through the use of command-line flags and the configuration file you can change existing information outputs or add your own custom ones. Neofetch supports almost 150 different operating systems. From Linux to Windows, all the way to more obscure operating systems like Minix, AIX and Haiku. -

The purpose of this project is to create security policy content for various platforms, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Fedora, Ubuntu, Debian, SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES), as well as products, Firefox, Chromium, JRE. We aim to make it as easy as possible to write new and maintain existing security content in all the commonly used formats. "SCAP content" refers to documents in the XCCDF, OVAL and Source DataStream formats. These documents can be presented in different forms and by different organizations to meet their security automation and technical implementation needs. For general use, we recommend Source DataStreams because they contain all the data you need to evaluate and put machines into compliance. The datastreams are part of our release ZIP archives. "Ansible content" refers to Ansible playbooks generated from security profiles. These can be used both in check-mode to evaluate compliance, as well as run-mode to put machines into compliance. -

Andronix App
This is the official repository for the back end of the Andronix app
Andronix is simple inside the hood (well not really, but most of it is simple to understand). Andronix uses PRoot to run your favorite Linux distribution on your Android devices. PRoot is a user-space implementation of chroot, mount --bind, and binfmt_misc. This means that users don't need any privileges or setup to do things like using an arbitrary directory as the new root file system, making files accessible somewhere else in the file system hierarchy, or executing programs built for another CPU architecture transparently through QEMU user-mode. We use Termux to provide the command line and the packages that are especially compiled for Termux implemented inside Andronix. -

SELKS is a free and open source Debian-based IDS/IPS/Network Security Monitoring platform released under GPLv3 from Stamus Networks. SELKS can be installed via docker-compose on any Linux or Windows OS. Once installed it is ready to use out of the box solution. SELKS ISOs are also available for air-gapped environments or bare metal or VM installation. SELKS is a showcase of what Suricata IDS/IPS/NSM can do and the network protocol monitoring logs and alerts it produces. As such any and all data in SELKS is generated by Suricata. The usage of Suricata data is further enhanced by Stamus' developed Scirius, a threat-hunting interface. The interface is specifically designed for Suricata events and combines a drill-down approach to pivot for quick exploration of alerts and NSM events. It includes predefined hunting filters and enhanced contextual views. -

The app supports ROOTED as well as NOROOTED devices. Use your mobile as a Pocket PC !! For Root Method: The application creates a disk image on a flash card, mounts it and installs an OS distribution. Applications of the new system are run in a chroot environment and working together with the Android platform. All changes made on the device are reversible, i.e. the application and components can be removed completely. Installation of a distribution is done by downloading files from official mirrors online over the internet. The application requires superuser rights (ROOT).Installing a new operating system takes about 15 minutes. The recommended minimum size of a disk image is 1024 MB (with LXDE), and without a GUI - 512 MB. Noroot Method: Install MOBICONSOLE addon and then install the linux on a non-rooted phone. -

If at any time Tails pushes an unexpected update, and HiddenVM is not yet updated for it, and you are stuck with a new Tails and no working HiddenVM version, you can re-download and temporarily use an earlier version of Tails until HiddenVM is updated. There are archived direct HTTP download mirrors of Tails images, archived official torrents with PGP signatures, or third-party archives at linuxtracker.org or fosstorrents.com, etc. (Always verify third-party torrents with archived official PGP sigs for safety.) Unless there is a known security vulnerability patched by the new Tails that actually affects how you use Tails, doing a temporary downgrade is not unsafe. A color and B&W emoji SVG-OpenType / SVGinOT font built from the Twitter Emoji for Everyone artwork with support for ZWJ, skin tone diversity and country flags. The font works in all operating systems, but will currently only show color emoji in Firefox, Thunderbird, Photoshop CC 2017+, and Windows Edge V38.14393+. This is not a limitation of the font, but of the operating systems and applications. Why doesn't it work on Chrome? Regular B&W outline emoji are included for backwards/fallback compatibility. SVG in Open Type is a standard by Adobe and Mozilla for color OpenType and Open Font Format fonts. It allows font creators to embed complete SVG files within a font enabling full color and even animations. There are more details in the SVGinOT proposal and the OpenType SVG table specifications. -

testssl.sh is a free command-line tool that checks a server's service on any port for the support of TLS/SSL ciphers, protocols as well as recent cryptographic flaws and more. testssl.sh is free and open-source software. You can use it under the terms of GPLv2, please review the License before using it. Works for Linux, Mac OSX, FreeBSD, NetBSD and WSL/MSYS2/Cygwin out of the box, no need to install or configure something, no gems, CPAN, pip or the like. OpenBSD only needs bash to be postinstalled. You can test any SSL/TLS enabled and STARTTLS service, not only webservers at port 443. Several command line options help you to run your test and configure your output. If a particular check cannot be performed because of a missing capability on your client side, you'll get a warning. You can look at the code, see what's going on and you can change it. -
