Aprilia SR125 Scooter 2 stroke Tetsuya Harada Replica. Very low mileage

Aprilia SR125 Tetsuya Harada Replica 125cc scooter.

Only 2088 KM ( 1200 miles) from new.

Purchased brand new in the UK in 2001 and I have the original sales invoice for £2000  from Motorcycle City. The scooter was registered in the UK and taxed but was immediately taken to Spain to stay at a holiday home there. The scooter was rarely used and has not been used for the last few years. The scooter is now back in the UK. It is not immaculate; there are a few scratches from being stored in a small garage but very little wear due to the low mileage. The scooter is all original. even the tyres and brakes but nothing is seized due to standing. The battery is flat but I have ordered a new one today and will be supplied with the scooter.

I have tried to start the scooter today and the engine turns over but petrol leaks when you kick it over. Please assume that you will have to strip down the carb. replace the fuel and grease up all the cables etc. as a minimum to get it running properly. The tyres look good. not perished but if it was my children using it. I would not been keen on travelling the high speeds that theses scooters reach on tyres that old (This is standard. un tuned but still a 70 mph machine).

The engine is 2 stroke. that?��s why it is so much faster than the Aprilias you can buy new today.

It is the special edition racing model. named after the Grand Prix champion Tetsuya Harada and does look really nice. There is no tax or MOT and so the scooter is sold as seen.

Please feel free to come and view. If you are particularly looking for one of these rare scooters. you would have difficulty finding such a nice original example.
