Natalie Portman Reveals Chris Hemsworth's Wife Stood In For Her During 'Passionate' Thor: The Dark World Love Scene
Natalie Portman and Chris Hemsworth may share some pretty saucy kissing scenes in their latest movie Thor: The Dark World, but the actress has now admitted there's a reason why one particular moment was so "passionate", because Chris' gorgeous wife took her place!
Chris and Natalie reprise their roles as Thor and his mortal love interest Jane Foster in the smash hit Marvel sequel. The new film sees the onscreen couple step their romance up a gear, with a scene at the end of the credits showing the two locked in a romantic embrace.
The kissing scene was shot during reshoots after the main filming was finished and with busy Natalie unable to make it back to set, producers came up with a genius solution.

Natalie reveals to the New York Daily News that Chris' gorgeous model and actress wife Elsa Pataky stood in for her:
"It was for reshoots and he was working in Hong Kong and I couldn't get there because I was working on my own film,' the actress said.
"And so they put his wife in my wig and costume, that's why it was so passionate".
With the help of the wig and some clever camera angles the audience have been none the wiser, with Natalie commenting that "it was such a perfect solution, wasn’t it?"

Chris and Elsa confirmed last month that they are expecting their second child together, a sibling for their one-year-old little girl India Rose.
