Kentucky Basketball fans are at it again. The Big Blue Nation will fill the arena in the opening session of the NCAA Tournament, at a price.
TickPick.com has again release the average ticket cost for various sessions of the opening rounds of the NCAA Tournament. Additionally, as it may come as no surprise, Kentucky Basketball’s matchup with Northern Kentucky on Friday afternoon tops the list.
The session also features the Dayton/Wichita State matchup. It seems as though the demand for tickets by the Big Blue faithful have driven up prices yet again for tickets.
The Big Blue Nation
The Kentucky Basketball faithful has shown in recent history that they spare no cost to watch their team play. When watching the game this weekend, pay attention to the color you see most in the stands. Its going to be blue. At $337.76 per session, the games at Banker’s Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis will be filled with big blue. You can take that to the bank.
With close proximity of all four teams participating, it doesn’t come as a surprise that the stands will be packed with the anticipation of watching great basketball.
Kentucky Needs to Make a Statement
To prove the doubters wrong, Kentucky Basketball needs to come out this weekend and make a statement in the first game against Northern Kentucky. Fans want to see a completely dominated, crisp game with high scoring and defense. A lot of brackets this season will have Wichita State defeating Dayton and matching up with Kentucky in the second round.
In that matchup, if it happens, Kentucky is the butt of quite a few upset picks against the Shockers. John Calipari and company will have to show what they can do against an under rated Wichita team in order to set up a probable rematch in the Sweet Sixteen against UCLA.
