A dreamy place with fantastic views of bays, sea, lighthouse and sea lions. And all at reasonable prices.
Unfortunately, there are a lot of walkers who often cross the course without consideration. For safety reasons, holes 19-27 are closed during peak times. These holes can then be played free of charge during championship games.

We played black 1-9 and blue 1-9 (championship). I would recommend this combination (on the 27-hole course). So you first play along the coast and on the second nine you go out into the peninsula. Nefyn is a coastal course and not a left course. The few patches of grass on the left are rarely in the area where they have an influence on the game.
The course is very undulating and hilly and has excellent fairways and greens, the latter often well undulating (moderately difficult), as well as many deep bunkers with acceptable sand. the place labeling should be better. we kept looking for the right path.
We had a brutally windy day, so some of the balls ended up *bending*. It was estimated that the space allowed for some variation.
19th hole: bar with a modest menu.
Green fee 59£... the place is worth every penny!

This is a beautiful golf course on the coast. Depending on the season and the weather, you will be confronted with many hikers and walkers on the blue course. In that case, avoiding accidents is more important than enjoying the game. These 9 holes are always worthwhile because they are really spectacularly built on the cliffs — even if they can only be played in the morning or from 5 p.m. The first 10 holes are really impressive. The condition was very good towards the end of May.
Clubhouse and especially locker room / showers are mediocre to bad.
All in all, you get 27 holes of golf at a fair price that are really fun!
