Artist Highlight

Anne Milligan is a Fine Artist located in Louisville, Kentucky. Anne paints primarily in oils in an Impressionist style. She was a Clinical Social Work Therapist for 30 years and has recently retired to pursue art as a primary career. In the past two years, she has been accepted into many of the highest rated juried art shows in the country. This will be her second year in the 9th Annual Louisville Festival of the Arts, having also displayed her work in 2015. 

Artist Statement:

"In my work as a painter, I seek to express the movement of nature's sparkling light energy on transparencies of color, fully aware that Creation itself is the greatest and most beautiful art of all. Nature is my greatest art teacher, and its Wisdom never ceases to amaze my heart. I seek only to allow it to guide my heart, and thus give tranquility and peace to others by way of my paintings. I want to bring more healing and more beauty into the world through my artwork."
