Tickets are sold at the automatic ticket machines installed at all METRO stations, as well as at the ticket booths. At the moment, machines can only accept coins (except for those located at AGHIOS DIMITRIOS, HALANDRI, DOUKISSIS PLAKENTIAS and AGHIOS ANTONIOS, which also accept banknotes) and give change. In the future, machines will accept banknotes and bank cards.
