Short
biography
- In 1995, I joined Instituto de Telecomunica��es as a scientist researcher, being engaged to different projects
on traffic measurements and modeling, traffic engineering, network security,
network dimensioning and new services design.
- In 2005, I received the PhD degree in Electrical Engineering from
University of Aveiro.
- From 1999 to 2005, I worked as an Invited Assistant Lecturer at
UA, becoming Assistant Professor in March 2005.
- Currently, my main research interests are in the areas of network
security, quality of service provisioning, innovative multimedia
services and Future Internet design.
