Play Xylophone

Again, I'm using up wood scraps.  This time for a play xylophone.  And...the best part?  It actually works!

This idea was suggested to me last weekend...and I went with it.  All I did was select pieces in ascending order.  I nailed equally spaced finishing nails on two boards shaped like a V. I then secured the ends to a solid piece of wood.  A narrow piece of felt was placed before I added the parts that make music.  They're removable, so one can change them up for different tunes.  The mallets were saved from my husband's childhood.

Cost:  Free!
