Glassy blue to blue-gray, almost gemmy Cordierite in a thick 2cm seam in sulfide rich matrix. This is an excellent Cordierite specimen with good color, subtle pleachroism and internal rainbows, but unfortunately the locality is vague and the price reflects this. Additionally there is a Black Hills Minerals label, which was operated by Bill Roberts, with the corresponding catalog number 90 on the specimen.
