sulfide

Large plate of bluish to purple iridescent Bornite with crystals to 6mm. Specimens such as these are seldom offered on the market. Not only is this a hard locality to obtain, but the natural Bornite patina adds to the appeal of this sulfide. Mines in this district a virtually extinct as they have either been reclaimed or swallowed up by the urban sprawl. Excellent specimen.
