Sometimes we (the royal we, that is) drink one, or two, or five too many on a Saturday night and feel a liiiittle worse for wear the next day. In these times of hangover hell, nothing cures better than a good, greasy breakfast. (And maybe an Advil or two.)

Often I crave the classic diner breakfast: two eggs, home fries, toast, coffee, OJ, the whole nine yards. All that grease and starch feels comforting, and I like to think it helps soak up any of the liquid poison that might be left from the night before. It's been my go-to order for years, but I think I've found something even better. The best part is, there's a good chance you already have most of the ingredients in your fridge.

Hot dog fried rice! I know it might sound unorthodox, but it's totally delicious. It hits all your hangover pleasure centers — it's salty, crunchy, carby — and it even has some veggies in it. Plus, it gives you an excuse to use that leftover container of white rice in your fridge. Fried rice actually works better with old rice.

The best part of this stir fry is also the most controversial. When you stir fry hot dogs, they get delicious caramelized edges that are strangely addictive. Trust me, they're not to be slept on. Serving it to your friends after a night of heavy drinking might garner some looks of disapproval. Once they taste it though, it'll be all full mouths and thumbs up. Happy hangover!
