(29,414 posts)What I also like is how when you get outside of most English-speaking countries (and probably much of Europe, too) you start to see people naming their children according to what the name means. Other than looking it up online later in life, most people have no idea what their name means.
It just seems to be more important to other cultures than it is for our own

Almost forgot. I also have triplets/students named Matthew, Mark, and Michael. Used to have triplets named Jamie, Jill, and .... I forget the 3rd one.

(12,243 posts)if they're girls. David and Mark if they're boys. Or any other names that are totally different from each other. That way, the twins can more easily think of themselves as individuals instead of copies of one another. If I'd had twins, I wouldn't have dressed them alike either.
