Prince Harry and Meghan Markle help LA wildfire victims

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were brutally savaged by a Hollywood actress, who labelled them "disaster tourists" following their appearance at an LA food bank for those affected by the raging wildfires.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were filmed by local news outlet Fox 11 on Friday as they hugged people and spoke to emergency crews at the Pasadena Community Centre in Los Angeles. The fires have destroyed thousands of homes and killed at least 24 people in the area so far, with about 16 others still missing.

Actress Justine Bateman took to X to criticise the couple, dubbing their appearance a "repulsive photo-op".

She wrote: "Meghan Markle and Harry are no better than ambulance chasers. What a repulsive "photo op" they achieved. They are "touring the damage"? Are they politicians now? They don't live here; they are tourists. Disaster Tourists. #PalisadesFire." The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been contacted for comment.

It is believed the Sussexes, who live in Montecito, some 90 miles from Los Angeles, have donated clothing, children's items and other essential supplies for people affected by the fires. They are also believed to have invited friends and loved ones who had been forced to evacuate into their homes.

Prince Harry 'protesting' against Royal Family as brutal rejection unveiled

Prince Harry is tipped to reject an offer from the Royal Family as a form of "protest" when he returns to the UK next month, a royal commentator has claimed.

The Duke of Sussex is expected to make a solo visit back to his home country to appear before the High Court for his ongoing trial against News Group Newspapers (NGN), the publisher of the Sun newspaper.

Harry and former Labour deputy leader, Lord Tom Watson are suing NGN for alleged unlawful information-gathering and invasion of privacy. The publisher denies any wrongdoing.

The Duke is set to be cross-examined by the newspaper group's barrister, with the trial set to last seven weeks.

Now royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams claimed Harry will likely refuse to stay at Buckingham Palace, an offer which he previously declined during his 2023 court appearance, and will most likely opt to stay at a hotel instead.

Princess Diana's priceless family heirloom that Princess Charlotte is set to inherit

Princess Charlotte may only be nine-years-old, but there is no doubt she is one of the most popular members of the Royal Family.

As the only daughter of Prince William and Princess Kate, Charlotte often makes the headlines after public appearances for her outfit choices, sweet mannerisms, or even the way she puts her brothers Prince George, 11, and Prince Louis, six, in their place.

While it is well-known that the princess is, behind-closed-doors, quite similar to millions of other young girls around the world, there is one family heirloom she is set to inherit that no one else in the world will have.

Real reason Lady Louise missed out on major royal benefit unlike Princess Charlotte

Lady Louise Windsor missed out on one major royal benefit in the line of succession unlike Princess Charlotte.

Lady Louise - who is now 21 years old - was eighth in line to the throne at the time of her birth in November 2003.

After the birth of her younger brother in December 2007, Louise was moved down in the line of succession - and James, Earl of Wessex took eighth place.

This was due to the fact that the line of succession was regulated by male-preference primogeniture at the time, which meant a younger son would overtake an elder daughter in the line of succession.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle blast Meta's U-turn for 'putting everyone in harms way'

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have released a powerful new statement in which they criticised Meta's latest decision to axe fact-checking, saying it "knowingly puts everyone in harm’s way".

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex took to their official Sussex website to call out on Meta and urged the company to prioritise public safety and curb the growing hate speech on its platforms.

Last week, Meta, which owns Facebook and Instagram, announced that it is scrapping its longstanding fact-checking programme in favour of a community notes system.

Harry and Meghan said: "Contrary to the company’s talking points, allowing more abuse and normalizing(sic) hate speech serves to silence speech and expression, not foster it."

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's 'crisis mode' plan for Archie and Lilibet amid LA fires

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have offered their Montecito mansion as a sanctuary for those fleeing the devastating LA wildfires. However, the Sussexes themselves are also bracing for evacuation as the rapidly spreading fires could potentially threaten their own home.

While the affluent California neighbourhood has yet to be impacted by the fires, which remain some distance from the town, the speed at which the flames are spreading has led to speculation that Harry and Meghan are ready to evacuate with their children if necessary. Sources suggest they are prepared to enter "crisis mode".

Their security team is said to be organising an evacuation plan and packing essentials for their children, Archie, five, and Lilibet, three. A neighbour commented: "It's not chaos here yet but the fire is moving fast and we are not taking any chances."
