I made the fence from rough cedar boards that I planed down to a smooth finish and installed with mortises. For the arbor I sheath the 4×4 redwood PT posts with cedar to keep the look. The gate is from Pacific Gate Works.

Outstanding job on the fence design.Did you draw out plans for the fence if you did would you be willing to share them with us?
A job well done indeed! The smooth finish is clearly visible even from far and the colour is really attractive especially in the sun. I have always thought that cedar makes a good fence due to the quality and its physical outlook. You can also line the panels up closely together for privacy without making it feel too confining.
