SO2102 : Steam fan, Six Bells Colliery

taken 36 years ago, near to St Illtyd, Blaenau Gwent, Wales

Steam fan, Six Bells Colliery
Steam fan, Six Bells Colliery
Engine by Davidson & Co, Belfast driving an axial flow propeller type fan. Disused for many years. This was scrapped soon after and the site has been cleared. The visit was not made any nicer as somebody had used the little brick building as a lavatory!
