Shadwell Basin
Shadwell Basin
Shadwell Basin was built in the 19th century and closed in 1969. It now has some rather uninspiring houses surrounding it although a band of trees and shrubs has been planted along the southern side and these have matured nicely.

On the far side can be seen the spire of St Paul's Church Shadwell - see Link
