The Coventry Canal is 38 miles long and joins Coventry to the Trent and Mersey Canal at Fradley Junction near Lichfield. It has connections with the Oxford Canal, the Ashby Canal, and the Birmingham and Fazeley Canal. Built between 1768 and 1789. Although started by James Brindley it was completed by other engineers.
