A woman has suffered a head injury after a multi-car collision on the A40 in Ealing.

Metropolitan police was called to the A40 Western Avenue, Hanger Lane Gyratory, to reports of the multi-car crash.

Traffic reports suggest three cars were involved in the collision.

Officers said a female motorist suffered a head injury.

Her condition has not yet been confirmed.

Transport for London (TfL) said lane one of three has been closed westbound.

A spokesman for London Ambulance Service (LAS) said: “We were called today at 12:47 to reports of a road traffic collision on Hanger Lane.

“We sent an ambulance crew to the scene who treated one patient and took them to hospital.”
