Giulia The famous park that holds the city zoo and several attractions is beautiful by day and night. Whether you're headed to the fey's realm or going for a jog, this a great place to hang out and check out the skating and dancing scene or enjoy a day on the grass. RP.
(view spoiler)

₪Daughter of the Rain and Snow₪ Susan cut into the park after leaving the others back on the street. She needed to remove herself from those things. It was bad enough she had announced their presence to the head of the Institute of all people...

Giulia ((Mind if Xavier comes in? This would make a perfect scenario for him))

₪Daughter of the Rain and Snow₪ ((sure, go ahead :) ))

message 5: by Giulia (new)

Giulia Xavier then entered the park, delighted to have found Susan. He then snuck up on the trail behind her and followed lightly, admiring her from behind. Yes, she'd make a very good ally...'

₪Daughter of the Rain and Snow₪ Susan stuffed her hands in her pockets, wishing she hadn't thrown away her only weapon. She knew she could get by without one, but she it allowed her to walk freely without worrying too badly.

Giulia He strolled behind her, admiring the park now, with its faint light posts and overhanging branches. Finally, he stepped on a twig, causing a loud crunch.

₪Daughter of the Rain and Snow₪ Susan stopped in her tracks, her ears straining to hear any further movement. She prayed it was just an animal or mundane. She would rather deal with a mugger than anymore werewolves or Shadowhunters.

message 9: by Giulia (new)

Giulia "Ahem." Xavier coughed, coming up quickly beside her with a charming smile. "Good evening miss. Lovely night is it not?" he inquired.

₪Daughter of the Rain and Snow₪ Susan narrowed her eyes at him, immediately able to tell he wasn't mundane. Wonderful. "I can't say I agree," she replied flatly.

message 11: by Giulia (new)

Giulia ((Warning, internet is really shaky at the moment, it has a tendency to die out from time to time))

"Not one to hide her feelings hm? Well I am Xavier Locke, pleasure to make your acquaintance Susan Stormway." he smiled, bowing.

₪Daughter of the Rain and Snow₪ ((it's okay, thanks for the heads up))

Every muscle in her body went tense, ready to strike or flee within a moments notice. "How do you know my name?" she demanded, venom lacing her tone.

message 13: by Giulia (new)

Giulia ((No problemo))
"I make it my business to know a lot of things about the secret world of New York, or else I wouldn't get anywhere with my business." he explained smoothly.

₪Daughter of the Rain and Snow₪ "And just what might that business be?" she inquired, not in the least bit put at ease. Please don't say bounty hunting.

message 15: by Giulia (new)

Giulia "You are not with the clave. Strange for a shadowhunter, hm? To be alone, without your group or Institute or leader..." he murmured, circling her a bit menacingly.

₪Daughter of the Rain and Snow₪ "Answer the question. Tell me what you want, or leave me be," she growled, irritated at being classified as a Shadowhunter. She just wanted to go home.

message 17: by Giulia (new)

Giulia "Very well. Straight to the point. I like it. Listen, I'm part of a plot bigger than me. I need allies and what better one than a shadowhunter?" he said.

₪Daughter of the Rain and Snow₪ Susan rolled her eyes. "If you really knew anything about me, then you would know what you're wasting your time. There are some Shadowhunters back that way, go torment them," she told him.

message 19: by Giulia (new)

Giulia "Already have one to torment if you must know. I need a cooperative one though." he explained smoothly.

₪Daughter of the Rain and Snow₪ "Yeah, the more you talk, the less interested I am, so you might as well move along," Susan snapped, her attitude making her want to cross her arms but her instincts told her to keep her body ready to fight.

((i've gotta go to sleep. night!))

message 21: by Giulia (new)

Giulia ((Nighty, night!))

"Susan, listen. I know you're prejudiced against joining anything but this is an interesting opportunity - we're going to overthrow the clave and what better to be than a shadowhunter sitting on the top when it's all done?" he offered.

₪Daughter of the Rain and Snow₪ Susan had her gaze narrowed on him. This guy was crazy if he thought he could do something like that. He was even crazier if he thought she wanted to be on top. She just wanted to be left alone. "And what happens to the rest of the shadowhunters once this happens, hmm?"

message 23: by Giulia (new)

Giulia "Join our ranks, oppression, whichever they choose really. Now come on Susan Stormway, you can't say that you're not the least bit interested..." Xavier said smoothly.

₪Daughter of the Rain and Snow₪ "What I'm interested in is peace and I don't think that comes with over throwing the Clave. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see those guys suffer as much as next person because of what they've done to my family, but I'm not about to go screw up something as big as the Clave," Susan replied sharply.

message 25: by Giulia (new)

Giulia "You act like you're going to be alone my dear...we've got warlocks and shadowhunters and vampires on our side." he elaborated. "What if the times are changing - all that evolution nonsense the humans talk about - and you're going to be left behind in the old species." he persuaded.

₪Daughter of the Rain and Snow₪ "Being left behind doesn't sound so bad to someone like me," Susan said. She could tell he was still trying to win her over, but it wasn't going to happen. "And I'm not working with Shadowhunters, even if they are against the clave. What you plan on doing is going to have far more consequences than you let on or you are just too stupid to see them."

message 27: by Giulia (new)

Giulia "My girl, if it makes you any better, one of the shadowhunters has turned to our side and the other is imprisoned, so you hardly have to work with any 'real' shadowhunters, no offense implied Nik." he added as an afterword as if he was there. "I'm just saying that tomorrow is coming and being left behind is bad if you're going to be the last shadowhunter."

₪Daughter of the Rain and Snow₪ Susan's eyebrows shot up in shock. "The last shadowhunter? Don't tell me you're planning on getting rid of all of them," she said skeptically.

message 29: by Giulia (new)

Giulia ((Need to be going soon))
"With that tone of voice, everything sounds impossible. No, it's not so much as an extermination plan as a...well, I'm not divulging secrets but why not give it more thought? I've spent all this time trying to convince you and you're not trying to understand." Xavier implored.

₪Daughter of the Rain and Snow₪ ((kay))

Right from the start Susan had known this was bad news. Anyway he put it, this all sounded like it wouldn't end well for anyone. She knew she should tell him to go to hell, but another part of her thought of how valuable this information could be... "You're right. Would you give me some time to think about it?" she inquired, making it sound as if she would even come close to considering what he was proposing.

message 31: by Giulia (new)

Giulia ((Last post))

"No, I'm asking you to think about it now. I need an answer in this very park. This is interesting information to be carrying around and Nik would be very upset if I had let it slip so. I'm much too talkative." he feigned lightness but his voice was actually menacing.

₪Daughter of the Rain and Snow₪ Susan remained silent for a long moment. She had to think about her family. If she refused would the warlock's plans put them in danger? If she agreed, would it protect them? She knew she couldn't attempt to put an end to Shadowhunters with a clear conscience, though. Without Shadowhunters, who would their be to protect mundanes? She mentally cursed. She had to protect her family, but she also had the shadowhunters to worry about... "Fine," she stated shortly.

message 33: by Giulia (new)

Giulia Xavier's eyebrows shot up, like he was shocked she agreed, but smoothened himself out quickly. "Very good. Shall I take you back to the bunch?" he offered an arm.

₪Daughter of the Rain and Snow₪ Susan merely blinked at him for a moment. "You want me to go now?" she asked. She had thought she would be able to go home and at least warn her family about what was going on.

message 35: by Giulia (new)

Giulia "Well yes. Do you have another plan in mind?" he asked, looking her over seriously.

₪Daughter of the Rain and Snow₪ "Yes," Susan said simply. She would not have her family wait up for her, wondering where she was. She had been the one waiting once, and it had been horrible. She wouldn't do that to them again.

message 37: by Giulia (new)

Giulia "That's not the way to do it my girl. You agreed so you're coming with me." he said firmly, stepping closer and more threateningly.

₪Daughter of the Rain and Snow₪ Susan took a step back, her gaze narrowing on him. She really wished she hadn't thrown her knife away. "You didn't tell me I was agreeing to leaving this very moment."

message 39: by Giulia (new)

Giulia "There's no reason for you not to. Now are you coming or do I have to make you?" he demanded, reaching to grab her arm.

₪Daughter of the Rain and Snow₪ She jumped back, out of his reach. "I'm not going anywhere with you unless it's on my own terms," she snapped.

message 41: by Giulia (new)

Giulia "You can't get everything you want in this world Princess. Let's get moving." he said, fiercely this time as he stepped forward once more, trying to take her arm.

₪Daughter of the Rain and Snow₪ Susan glared at him, moving away once again as she thought through her options: fight or run. She couldn't fight him. She had no weapons, and he had magic. She was a fast runner though, and if she was lucky she might lose him. "No."

message 43: by Giulia (new)

Giulia "Where is it that you have to go that you would dare make a warlock upset my girl?" His voice then smoothened out and he stopped his advances, eyeing her twitchy movements.

₪Daughter of the Rain and Snow₪ She didn't dare tell him where she was going. She wanted to keep her family as far away from him as possible. "I don't trust you, therefore I have no reason to tell you," she said sharply, continuing to inch back in case he tried to grab her again.

message 45: by Giulia (new)

Giulia "It's problematic if you don't trust me and we're going to be partners." he mused, trying to decipher what she was thinking about.

₪Daughter of the Rain and Snow₪ "How many of your 'partners' do you think honestly believe that they can confide in you?" she said, trying to put his attention off of her. She had no intentions of being this warlocks "partner".

message 47: by Giulia (new)

Giulia "Fair enough your shadowhunter but even temporary trust is expected in this kind of situation. So can't I know?" he asked smoothly, watching her actions carefully in case she tried to break for it.

₪Daughter of the Rain and Snow₪ "No," Susan said, a tone of finality hanging off the one word. She watched him watch her and she knew she would have to pick just the right moment if she was going to be able to get away from him.

message 49: by Giulia (new)

Giulia "I don't like this conversation anymore Susan..." he warned her almost, fingers twitching in case he needed to work his magic.

₪Daughter of the Rain and Snow₪ You're just starting to not like it? Susan thought bitterly, but figured it wouldn't be the best idea to voice that. "The feeling is mutual," she said, getting ready to take off.
