Abstract: Focusing on the problem of image position registration,an image registration algorithm based on genetic algorithm was proposed.The appropriate parameters to characterize the degree of similarity between the two image registration are selected,genetic parameters are optimized by comparing the number of tests obtained by population size,genetic algebra and computation time,and ultimately this algorithm is tested through MATLAB programming.Results show that the algorithm has better convergence and computing speed,better accuracy and practicality than conventional traversal method.
