Hello, my name is ***** ***** I’m an automotive expert here. I'd be happy to help with this today. Who am I speaking with?
Hello jeremiah, nice to chat with you. Tell me about the overheating symptom? How does that play out? What have you done or tested so far?
That would be consistent with having air in the system. A portion of the system is unable to hold pressure and leaking coolant or allowing air into the system. A check would be done with a pressure tester gauge to see if it can hold 18-20 psi without dropping down. Dye can be used to help look for the leak
I doubt that the car wash is connected. Maybe the outside temps. Testing would start by looking for the leak.
You want to check it with a pressure gauge to see if it can hold pressure.
If the system does hold pressure, then testing would move towards temperature flow/control through the system. This is done using an infared temperature gun to check the temperature at various points and compare it to what it should be. It is possible that you have a thermostat issue. Let me know what you find and if you have any other questions when you get into it.
