I would estimate that I have been part of the LuLaRoe cult for almost a year. During that year I have learned one really important lesson: it is expensive to love LuLaRoe. Their clothing, while super comfortable and very adorable, is not cheap. Working from home grants me the luxury of wearing pretty much whatever I want. Most days that means you can find me in leggings and my favorite sweatshirts. When I discovered LuLaRoe I was skeptical, as most people are, until I tried my first few items. After I was hooked I knew I needed to find a way to buy cheap LuLaRoe or I’d have to give it up entirely!

Buying Cheap LuLaRoe is not just as simple as a coupon and a sale. They’re not traditional in the sense that you can pick up their clothing in a chain store or retail location. They are a direct sales company so you need to find a distributor or a “consultant” as they’re called by LuLaRoe. What this means is that buying Cheap LuLaRoe is not as simple as buying other clothing for cheap but it is almost as easy so, fear not!

Utilize Online Sales

Social media has become intertwined in our daily lives. You can do everything from chat with friends to making big and small purchases. Use platforms like Facebook to buy cheap LuLaRoe. There are so many great groups out there for buying and selling LuLaRoe. Much like an online thrift store you can pick up new and used items for whatever price the seller deems suitable. LuLaRoe consultants have to sell their items at MSRP in their personal groups. Individuals are not held to that same rule.

One great group that I love, is Dirt Cheap LuLaRoe! This group does not allow any LuLaRoe items to be sold for more than retail with the shipping price included! That means you don’t have to worry about finding things marked for over retail. Everything has to be cheaper than buying from a consultant. There are also other online groups that specialize in buying and selling LuLaRoe under retail prices. It’s a fantastic marketplace for buying cheap LuLaRoe.

Shop Local

If you are going to be shopping for at least some of your LuLaRoe at retail prices, find a local consultant. I have found that my local consultants are more likely to give me deals and sale pricing because I am a repeat customer that they are familiar with. Many local consultants will honor a punch card as well, you can earn points or punches towards free super soft LuLaRoe leggings….doesn’t get better for cheap LuLaRoe than FREE!

Host a Party

Did you know that much like other direct sales companies LuLaRoe consultants will come do an in home party for you and your guests? Typically these parties will earn you free or reduced price clothing. Of course you will need to take a break from in home parties eventually but it definitely a great way to build up your LuLaRoe wardrobe without breaking the bank. At the same time, you are supporting a local consultant and their small business!

Make a Trade

One of the ways some consultants sell cheap LuLaRoe is through mystery sales. You don’t know what you are going to get outside of the style and size. Often they will offer a discount on these items so that they can sell a bunch of inventory without having to go through the trouble of photographing and setting up an entire party. You can score a great deal but you might not get the print you are looking for, in that case you will want to make a trade. Using online groups or even your local friends and family you can swap out items that you are tired of, or items that are not your favorite.

Another way you can get cheap LuLaRoe is by swapping non-LuLaRoe items for clothing! There are groups on Facebook dedicated to this process but you can also use eBay, Craigslist, sales apps, and blogs to trade your stuff for LuLaRoe. Perhaps something you no longer need can be traded or sold to help fund your LuLaRoe closet.

Be Thrifty

Now that LuLaRoe has become so widespread and popular more and more of their items are turning up at thrift stores and second hand shops. Pick through these places every once in awhile and scoop up any LuLaRoe items you find. Trade items that don’t fit or are not your style with others online. You can always use PayPal to back a trade for these items so you don’t get burned! Consultants will sometimes do a bargain bin sale which is almost as good as thrift and secondhand pricing. Normally they can’t disclose the pricing but if you ask privately in a message you can usually find out. Shopping these kinds of sales gets you new new merchandise at used prices which is great for the LuLaBudget.

Set Limits

For me, the hardest part about buying cheap LuLaRoe was letting go of all the non-cheap LuLaRoe that I felt like I wanted to buy. The thing is, there are TONS of people scooping this stuff up every second of the day. Eventually they’re going to be tired of that print or they’re going to realize they just spent their rent check and they’ll need to sell it. Usually when that happens they’re going to offer a discount because they need the money and they can’t wait for the perfect buyer to come along and pay more.

Setting limits for both purchases and prices has helped me get some of the best deals on LuLaRoe. For example, I don’t pay more than $15 for new or very gently used leggings. I try and keep it to $12 and only do $15 if it includes tracking and shipping. This alone saves me $10 per pair on leggings! No matter how you decide to shop for LuLaRoe, with a little elbow grease and some patience, you can stock your LuLaRoe wardrobe for much less than retail pricing!
