grant_3250 Posted July 12, 2019 Posted July 12, 2019 (edited) Picked up this Italeri Range Rover kit from a car swap meet. It was amongst tables of plane kits at a cost of just $8 AUS!. The theme for the car is a weathered hauler, something that would tow a car to race day (I have a scratch built trailer on the way!). I scratch built a slab of Jack Daniels, Australian number plates and a Supercheap Auto catalogue in the front. The weathering and detail painting took a lot longer than expected but I’m happy with the results. Feel free to comment. Edited July 12, 2019 by grant_3250
PatW Posted July 12, 2019 Posted July 12, 2019 S'looking good! We still have loads of these more classic RR's rolling round the streets here in the UK!
oldcarfan Posted July 13, 2019 Posted July 13, 2019 Love the4 build, love the subject! Good job, dude.
Tom Geiger Posted July 13, 2019 Posted July 13, 2019 Cool! I'm a sucker for a beater! Nice job on the weathering and rust, so easy to overdo and most folks do! Per the Jack Daniels, what you call a "slab" we call a "case". Expensive stuff, nobody can buy a whole case! And a story.. for my 30th birthday, my wife threw me a big surprise party. And it seems everyone's gift was a bottle of Jack! I had enough Jack for the next decade! I drank some, regifted some, marinated meat in Jack... got tired of it and haven't bought any in a long while!
