History & Mission
Palos Verdes Villa was launched 40 years ago to address the unique needs of the elderly.
Seth has been an integral part of caring institution since 1998. Loving husband and father to 5 children, Seth attended UCLA law school but realized that what he really wanted was to be in a profession that helped people in a different way. Palos Verdes Villa fit into his ideals perfectly.
Seth Bienstock
Since his first day here, he has always taken an active interest in each resident. He drove people to the DR, went shopping for those who couldn’t and advocated with hospitals and Nursing homes to get the best care for our residents. In addition, he is also active in the local community where he helps bring in noted speakers and arrange classes centering on ethics and self improvement.
The major turning point in Seth’s life came when he attended to the care of a loved one in hospital. Being on the other side of the table, he saw how the friendliness of the staff and the smiles transformed their whole day and enabled his loved one to be in better spirits and heal faster. He returned to work and immediately began to implement this concept. The change is evident to all those who visit our facility.
At Palos Verdes Villa we encourage smiles and nurture a happy atmosphere. We do not believe in cookie cutter solutions. Instead, all of our staff goes the extra mile to adapt our care to each of our residents. We are one big family and every member admits to looking forward each day to come to work and help change people’s lives for the better.
