Over years I have had a lot to do with the wonderful country of Timor Leste. A very productive part of my involvement has been assisting their Timor Leste Chamber of Commerce to identify and ultimately create sustainable industries.
Tourism has been identified as potentially a big industry for Timor Leste, particularly because it is such a unique and beautiful country. Tourism is still very much in a development phase for the country, but they have some great initiatives in place to promote and showcase much of the natural beauty that the country has to offer.
This video came up on the Australian Geographic website and I feel that it really captures the country well. I can personally recommend many of the locations showcased here.
