I wear a Stetson on the last day of the work week or ceremonial activities. It's traditional wear of U.S. Army Cavalry and Air Cavalry.

I live and work in cowboy country , ride horses and drive a pickup truck . No way on earth would I wear a Stetson , would look like a complete tit . Know some who do , mainly older folks who couldn't give a s

Only exception is Calgary Stampede where a white Stetson is almost compulsory .

I had a cheap one that I used to wear on holidays to keep the sun off my pathetic English skin and I quite enjoyed wearing it until it got knackered. I would love a decent one but even though I generally don't give a st what people think of me I couldn't stroll around Doncaster in it!
