Poster Monday: Quality
For the February’s last Poster Monday we have the poster “Quality” designed by Dominik Jakubowski. He lives and work in Poznań in western Poland. Is a graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznań 30 years ago, Dominik have already had over 70 exhibitions around the world, several awards and distinctions “I think I can be proud of what I have achieved, especially since I usually make posters after work, often at the expense of sleep”.
The poster was designed for a competition promoting the art of goldsmithing. The watchword was QUALITY. The universal sign of a raised thumb is to show satisfaction with the quality of the product and it is shown by a woman’s hand because jewelry is created primarily for women. “This is one of the two posters that I designed for this competition and as it usually happens with me, my favorite didn’t win but I’m still very happy that the second work was qualified for the final” tell us Dominik.
