Student Life

At St Joseph's Catholic High School there are a diverse range of opportunities available for our students to develop and grow in their faith, learning and community.

At Joey's we have a variety of before school, after school and lunchtime activities.

Our school based initiatives include:

Aspiring/Elite Athlete Program Prospectus

Ignite Academic Program Package

Student Merit System

Students are recognised for their consistent positive contributions to the the whole school community.  To be recognised students need to contribute above the usual expectations of being a student at Joseph's.

Awarding of merits is based on the St Joseph's SOLE goals:

  • Respect for Self
  • Respect for Others
  • Respect for Learning
  • Respect for Environment

"Connect 4"

A student who receives 4 'merit stamps' in a row horizontally will receive a Respect of SOLE Award.

  • any 16 stamps converts to a Principal's Bronze Award - Bronze Medallion
  • any 32 stamps converts to a Principal's Silver Award - Silver Medallion
  • any 48 stamps converts to a Principal's Gold Award - Gold Medallion
  • the completion of all 16 stamps on the one page will convert to a Diamond Principal's Respect Award
