Consumer Price Index, January 2025
The Consumer Price Index (CPI) rose 1.9% on a year-over-year basis in January, up from a 1.8% increase in December. On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, the CPI rose 0.1% in January.

Canada's international transactions in securities, December 2024
Foreign investors increased their exposure to Canadian securities by $14.4 billion in December, mainly in debt securities. Meanwhile, Canadian investors acquired $3.8 billion of foreign securities, down from a $17.6 billion investment in November.

Monthly Survey of Manufacturing, December 2024
Manufacturing sales rose 0.3% in December, driven primarily by higher sales of petroleum and coal as well as food products. Meanwhile, motor vehicle sales recorded the largest decline.

Wholesale sales (excluding petroleum, petroleum products, and other hydrocarbons and excluding oilseed and grain) fell 0.2% to $83.6 billion in December.
