Restaurants & Bars
A choice of well-known classics, plant-based options or award-winning dishes from Lombardy are available from the fine dining Romanoff and Da Vittorio restaurants.. Embracing the nutritional and sustainable principles of our Moving Mountains philosophy, local ingredients are combined to create culinary art in the Restaurant Romanoff, whereas Da Vittorio St. Moritz, awarded 2 Michelin stars and 18 GaultMillau points, excels with Italian gourmet surprises from the Cerea family from Brusaporto, Italy. Guests will feel well looked after all day long in the light-flooded rooms of the Bel Etage: from lunch on the sunny panoramic terrace, to our feel-good afternoon tea, and later, an ice-cooled evening cocktail in front of the crackling open fire. Hearty traditional Swiss dishes are served in the private atmosphere of the converted Carlton cable cars, and the Carlton Bar has been rated by the Forbes Travel Guide as one of the world’s best addresses for innovative signature drinks.
Restaurant Romanoff
A modern interpretation of classic cuisine with favourite dishes from the region and abroad, cleverly manipulated to offer flavour combinations that evoke the most beautiful memories and simultaneously, provide surprising new taste experiences. Together with renowned nutritionist Rhaya Jordan, our award-winning chefs have also created fantastic Moving Mountains menus featuring delicious plant-based dishes with the option to add fish or meat. Keeping a passion for flavour, these dishes have been designed to maximise their nutritional value using local ingredients, for a fully wholesome and enjoyable fine dining experience.
Da Vittorio
Conceived by the Cerea family in Italy, Da Vittorio at Carlton Hotel St. Moritz offers authentic, Italian based award-winning dishes created by family member Paolo Rota served in a very relaxed setting. The outstanding performance in the kitchen by the Italian gourmet dynasty continues to impress Michelin Guide critics who awarded the restaurant a Michelin star after the restaurant’s very first winter season. A second star followed in February 2020. The GaultMillau guide awarded the fine-dining restaurant 18 points and described it as Switzerland’s best Italian restaurant.
The Cerea family’s flagship Da Vittorio is the enchanting Relais & Châteaux-Hotel Da Vittorio in Brusaporto just outside Bergamo, established in 1966 and received its first Michelin star as early as 1970. Since then, they have expanded to Shanghai and St Moritz. In the spirit of their parents, all five children today still run the restaurant as a family business. The restaurant in Brusaporto, which today numbers among the world’s most exclusive gourmet restaurants, received the coveted three Michelin stars in 2010. Since May 2019, gourmets in Shanghai have been able to enjoy the expansion of the Italian culinary institution, too.
Carlton Bar & Bel Etage
Guests will feel well looked after all day long in the light-flooded rooms of the Bel Etage, the most beautiful sun terrace in St. Moritz. Whether you are stopping by for an aromatic coffee with the morning papers, a light snack on the sun terrace at lunchtime surrounded by the winter mountain scenery, a slice of homemade cake in the afternoon or sophisticated aperitif snacks served from the trolley in the evening. It goes so much further than an ice-cooled evening cocktail at the multiple Forbes award-winning Carlton Bar: you are always at the centre of attention in the feel-good atmosphere of the Bel Etage.
Carlton Terrace
With views of the deep blue sky and glittering snow: the Carlton’s sun terrace is the ideal place to spend an afternoon.
