April 11, 16: YoUDee tryouts
YoUDee mascot team tryouts to be held at Trabant University Center
2:21 p.m., April 5, 2012--Tryouts to join the University of Delaware's national champion YoUDee mascot team will be held from 11 a.m.-2 p.m., Wednesday, April 11, and Monday, April 16, in Multipurpose Room C of the Trabant University Center.
Due to costume restrictions, students trying out for YoUDee must be between 5-feet 9-inches and 6-feet 1-inch in height. Those trying out for Baby Blue must be no taller than 4-11.

As it neared time for the processional to open the University of Delaware Commencement ceremonies, graduating students and faculty members shared their feelings about what the event means to them.
Doctoral hooding
It was a day of triumph, cheers and collective relief as more than 160 students from 21 nations participated in the University of Delaware's Doctoral Hooding Convocation held Friday morning on The Green.
