Miss World 2025 will be the 72nd edition of the Miss World pageant, held in Hyderabad, India on 31 May 2025. Krystyna Pyszková of the Czech Republic will crown her successor at the end of the event.[1]

On 19 February 2025, the organizers announced that the final event would take place on 31 May in Hyderabad, India.[2] This will be the third time the pageant was held in India, following Miss World 1996 and the last pageant held in 2024.
Selection of participants
Replacements
Ismeli Jarquín, the original titleholder of Miss World Nicaragua 2024, resigned for undisclosed reasons. She was then replaced by her first runner-up, Julia Aguilar.[3] Julia Aguilar also didn't compete and replaced by Miss World Nicaragua 2025, Virmania Rodríguez.[4]
Miss Polonia 2024 Maja Klajda replaced Ewa Jakubiec as Poland's representative for Miss World, as Jakubiec's reign finished.[5]
Albertina Haimbala of Namibia[6] withdrew from the competition for unknown reasons. She was replaced by Selma Kamanya.[7]
Miss World Japan 2024, Kiana Tomita, replaced Miss World Japan 2023, Maya Negishi, who will not be able to compete in international pageant due the end of her reign.[8][9]
Noelia Hernandez of Belize[10] withdrew from the competition for unknown reasons. She was replaced by her first runner-up, Shayari Morataya.[11]
Miss Côte d'Ivoire 2024, Marie-Emmanuelle Diamala was replaced by her 1st Runner-up, Fatoumata Coulibaly.[12][13]
Manita Hang of Cambodia withdrew from the competition due to the personal reasons.[14] Five days later, the Miss World Cambodia organization selected Julia Russell as the new representative through a casting process.
Miss World Cayman Islands 2024, Latecia Bush was replaced by her 2nd Runner-up, Jada Ramoon.[15][16]
Ariet Sanjarova of Kyrgyzstan withdrew for unknown reason, she was replaced by Aizhan Chanacheva.[17]
Micaela Nikolalev of Moldova was replaced by Anghelina Chitaica for unknown reasons.[18]
Debuts, returns, and withdrawals
This edition will mark the returns of Albania, Armenia, the British Virgin Islands, Equatorial Guinea, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Latvia, North Macedonia, Suriname, Switzerland, Turks and Caicos Islands, the United States Virgin Islands and Zambia; Turks and Caicos Islands, which last competed in 2004,[19] Suriname last competed in 2012,[20] Switzerland last competed in 2014,[21] North Macedonia last competed (as Macedonia) in 2015,[22] Latvia and Zambia last competed in 2018,[23][24] the British Virgin Islands, Kyrgyzstan, Laos and the United States Virgin Islands last competed in 2019;[25][26] while Albania, Armenia, and Equatorial Guinea last competed in 2021.[27][28]
Iraq withdrew from the competition after their respective organizations failed to appoint a delegate and hold a national competition.
Tracy Nabukeera of Tanzania was supposed to compete but she decided to withdrew from the competition due to lack of sponsorship.[29][30][31][32]
