Salou Maps and Orientation
(Salou, Catalonia, Spain)
Salou lies south-west down the coast from
Barcelona, in the Tarragona Province. This is the most important town on the Costa Daurada, which is a relatively small strip of resort-studded coastline completely contained within the province. The emphasis is on Mediterranean resorts, with a backing of theme parks and entertainment venues.
Maps are handiest for tourists who want to do some exploring along the Costa Daurada. Public buses are available, but there's really no substitute for hiring a car and exploring on your own. In this case, the rental firm is likely to include a map with your vehicle. Otherwise, you can enquire through your hotel's front desk.
Maps and Orientation of the Town
Behind the beaches is a loose network of roads that lead inland to a few three-star hotels and the Port Aventura theme park. This area also contains a few campsites that are popular with young park-goers and families.
