2012 AARP Senate Voter Guide

AARP released the Youve Earned a Say: Vote for Retirement Security 2012 Voters Guides, featuring information from presidential, senatorial and congressional candidates in their own words on their plans to strengthen Social Security, Medicare and financial security. The 2012 presidential Voters Guide will also appear in the next issue of AARP The Magazine, arriving in homes beginning in late August 2012. AARPs federal Voters Guide poses three questions on Social Security, Medicare, and Financial Security:
- How would you protect Social Security for todays seniors and strengthen it for future generations?
- How would you put Medicare on stronger financial ground and protect todays seniors and future retirees from the burden of rising health costs?
- How would you help Americans build a financial nest egg for their retirement?
|
The AARP maintains two websites: EarnedASay.org
and AARP.org --
OnTheIssues excerpts the Senate Voter Guides for most Senate challengers and some incumbents.
(P.S. And the AARP uses numerous OnTheIssues.org excerpts in their Voter Guide as well!)
