A BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION in 13 PIX!
Lynda Carter turns 73! Let’s celebrate her birthday with the character she played more often that any other… Diana Prince!
See, the 1975-79 show was called Wonder Woman (with various descriptors) but Carter only popped up as the Amazing Amazon a few times an episode. Most of the time, she played her intrepid alter ego.
Once the show jumped networks (from ABC to CBS) and time periods (from World War II to the Disco ’70s), Carter’s Diana Prince became one of the most fashionable women on TV. Hell, by the end of the series, she was hardly wearing her oversize glasses anymore.
So dig these 13 PIX of the IADC’s most badass secret agent in all her groovy style:

Thank you! Yes, Price held her own, even in the 1940s episodes. Carter pulled it off perfectly; she was the real Wonder Woman of the series!

The picture with the playing cards gave me sudden Linda Thorson / Tara King (from the British Avengers) vibes.
