Rochester, N.Y. — A pawn shop owner is heading to prison after pleading guilty to selling millions of dollars worth of stolen goods.
Thomas Nary, 40, owned Rochester Pawn & Gold on Dewey Avenue. According to prosecutors, Nary purchased stolen goods from boosters between January 2015 and November 2019, shipping more than $6 million worth of items to buyers.

Prosecutors said the items were stolen from various retailers, with Nary buying them at a fraction of their retail value and selling them on eBay and Amazon for a profit.
Nary was convicted oftransportation of stolen goods in interstate commerce and sentenced to 46 months in prison. He was also ordered to pay $3,128,363 for selling and shipping the stolen items.
Co-defendants Eric Finnefrock and Ralph Swain are still awaiting sentencing.
