After his military service, he then took out a year to further sub-specialize and complete a Fellowship in Pediatric Cleft and Craniofacial Surgery. Currently he is the only Oral Surgeon who has fellowship training in both Pediatric Cleft and Craniofacial Surgery in the state of Ohio.
Besides treating his patients in the United States, he also has a passion for mission trips to operate on children with cleft lip and palate deformities around the world.
“Oral and facial surgery is an art form which creates balance and harmony for an individual” is what you will find him saying to his patients.
Dr. Khan brings a wealth of knowledge and surgical expertise, he acquired from around the country, bringing cutting edge surgery for his patients.

Touching Stories
I have to share my family's experience with Dr. Khan. First let me say this: our son has a disability and our journey started over two years ago when he was referred to somewhere else by his dentist to get his wisdom teeth removed and a tooth he had in his gum. He was pushed away stating why put him through it if he isn’t having pain. Never even offered to get x-rays to know what he had going on. (He is unable to get x-rays without sedation.)
There’s a lot that went on in the middle… including the pain that came… we can skip but finally fast forward to now. He started experiencing pain again and we decided to call Dr. Khan’s office. We were in the same day! My son was treated with such care and we felt at home as soon as we walked in the door. He had his procedure to get what needed to be done within two days!! They listened to our son's needs from the very beginning! The morning of the procedure we were greeted by staff and Dr. Khan in the waiting area! Made my boy feel so safe. Every step after that was the same. For my anxious kiddo to feel so at home and for them to listen and make sure he was so comfortable meant the world! He had follow ups and is doing fantastic!
These things are extra hard for our kiddos and young adults with disabilities, but if anyone needs to have this sort of procedure done, I cannot say enough good words about the staff and Dr. Khan. Thank you to you all there for listening and treating my son like everyone else and understanding all the extras he needed that made him safe and so cared for. We will forever be grateful!

My mom suffers from dementia and recently had to have some dental work done. It involved oral surgery with Dr. Khan and then being fitted for a new denture at another location. I cannot tell you how much we appreciate all Dr. Khan and his staff did to make this possible. It involved several visits outside of the surgery itself. Each time we arrived the entire staff made my mom feel like she was the most important patient they were seeing that day. It's a special situation working with someone suffering from this disease and trust me it required an overabundance of patience on their part.
Of the many things that have changed with my mom, her beautiful smile still "lights up a room" as my dad likes to say. Without the loving care provided by Dr. Khan and his staff, I am afraid we would have lost this as well. It makes all of us smile to see my mom smiling again! From the bottom of our hearts – thank you and God bless you all!
