Afternoon Tea On The Queen Mary

Afternoon Tea at the Queen Mary (which is one of the closest Tea locations to Palos Verdes) gave me a feeling of being on a cruise.  It has been several years since I visited the Queen Mary and it was better than I remembered!  From the moment we stepped onto the ship, it felt like we were out at sea.  The Tea Room is at the top of the Queen Mary and as we wandered through the ship, we really felt the nostalgia of the era.  The Tea Room had a very formal period look with large windows to view the ocean.

The food was delicious.  Our favorites were the chicken curry sandwiches, pumpkin scones and lemon tarts.  There were only four selections of tea which seemed a slim choice.  The service was excellent though.  We spent the afternoon leisurely sipping tea, nibbling treats and visiting.  It was exactly what I needed; I felt refreshed as if I had been on a vacation.  To read more about Afternoon Tea on the Queen Mary, click here...

Sounds like fun Elaine, I would love to take a tour of the Queen Mary some time, so much great history on that ship.

That sounds like a good time Elaine.  I need to make the trip to SoCal someday, I would love to tour the Queen Mary.
