Ridhima Khanna established “Addicted” in 2010.  All baked goods are hand made using the highest quality ingredients. To take advantage of seasonal produce, new flavors and recipes are added throughout the year. The USP of addicted is it’s quality. We minimize the use of processed foods and believe in incorporating fresh wholesome ingredients in our products. We use Madagascar vanilla bean,  64% belgian chocolate, philadelphia cream cheese, pure 100% cocoa powder, real dairy, fresh fruits . Our ingredients are sourced both internationally and locally to maximize customer satisfaction for a palate that is big on genuine flavors. We use no pre mixes and churn a fresh batter according to your specific order.

Ridhima Khanna’s phone never stops ringing, as orders for birthday parties, get-togethers and gifts pour in. A passionate baker, she started baking at the age of ten and there has been no looking back since.

For young entrepreneur Ridhima Khanna, food has been her biggest passion for as long as she can remember. She started baking at the age of 10 and dreamed of opening her own little patisserie one day – which she has done now. These days she offers healthy food and lets her clients savour a delicious balance between healthy and sinful offerings that her Addicted – Freshly Baked line offers.

“I am very particular about making handcrafted products, minimising the use of processed foods. We incorporate fresh wholesome ingredients in all our products such as fresh fruits, milk, nuts, oats, whole-wheat flour, spices, antioxidant dark chocolate,” she says. Her line comprises nutritive products incorporating only super foods. These yummy healthy treats are baked entirely with the goodness of almond flour, oats, whole wheat flour, bran, flax seed meal, fresh fruit, nuts, spices, dark chocolate, minimal amounts of olive oil and brown sugar or jaggery.

Vegan products are a part of the nutritive range, too. The Addicted artisanal gelato is created using fresh milk, seasonal ingredients and fruits, infused coffee beans, 64 per cent chocolate and the best ingredients available and is churned freshly as per order. “The entire ideology behind Addicted is the use of fresh, healthy, high quality ingredients to maximise consumer taste and satisfaction,” Khanna claims.

Scoop to chill – Gelato making

Fancy a scoop of homemade gelato? Maybe top it up with some freshly-baked cookies? If you’re craving it already, then here’s what you should do-enrol for gelatomaking classes by Addicted-Freshly Baked. Probably the only class of its kind in the city, this three-hour session will teach you the basics of gelato making, creating your own flavours, and also savouring and taking home what you make. These classes are open to all age groups and organised once a week with batches that comprise not more than four people. Conducted by Ridhima Khanna, owner of Addicted, the classes are fun and have lots of food tasting.

TIPS: Mix dry and wet ingredients separately. Sugar is a wet ingredient, mix with other wet ingredients. Once you add flour to batter, don’t over beat or you’ll get a crumbly cake. Put your cake in the oven once the dry ingredients have been added.
