One weekly planner in 5 different styles (Bullet journal ideas)
If you’re using the same weekly layout for an entire year that can get a bit boring. So here are some different design ideas for the same weekly layout – you could incorporate some of the ideas into your own ‘go-to’ weekly spread.

One weekly planner in 5 different styles
1. Minimalist
I used the Triplus broadliner pens for these spreads. The tip is 0.8mm which is a nice ‘in between’ a normal pen and a marker pen.
2. Brush pens & highlighters
I tried but I can’t do brush lettering. I just don’t have the patience and I’m too much of a perfectionist. Brush pens come in such a wide brush tip that it’s hard to fit the letters into an A5 size notebook.
Brush pens also become blunt really fast if you don’t use them on special brush lettering paper. So that’s why I just use them like highlighters.
If you’re looking for a good white pen to write over the top of dark colors, I recommend the Sakura Gelly Roll 08

I used the Zebra Mildliners (dual tip highlighters) for these 3 spread ideas:
Tip: Wipe the ruler with a tissue after every line so there’s no smearing or ‘cross contamination’ of colors

3. Washi tape
3mm washi tape is perfect for creating borders to divide up the page.
I used this washi tape for this spread (available from my sister’s planner supplies store).
4. Dot Markers
I created 1 circle for each letter using the dot art markers.
If you wanted to use dot markers to create borders between the weekdays instead of a solid line, I recommend the Zig dot markers (those are easier to create different size dots, including smaller dots).

Dot markers are also ideal for creating dots that you can then write the dates in (much cheaper than using date dot stickers too). But if you want to use stickers…
5. Planner stickers
I used the Recollections ‘Everyday Basics’ sticker book for this spread.

These layouts are wonderful! Great for weeks when you don’t have too much going on. Also – sidenote – I love that you still blog about this stuff instead of making videos. I’m a silent reader but thought I should let you know so that you don’t disappear from your blog 🙂
