Dear friends in this post I explain my family story in short:
My family has endured extreme hardship. We were forced to flee our home in the Tel al-Hawa neighborhood of Gaza as bombs and missiles rained down around us. Seeking refuge, we moved to Nuseirat, which was believed to be a safe zone. Unfortunately, our temporary shelter was directly hit by an airstrike, resulting in the tragic loss of an entire family in the neighboring apartment and in my family apartment the martyrdom of a woman and her two children Several members of my family were also injured, some severely.
Since then, we’ve been displaced over 10 times, constantly fleeing the relentless and random bombardments wherever we went. Our most recent displacement came when our tent was destroyed in another airstrike. Now, we are homeless, living in an uninhabitable location in Nuseirat.
I am reaching out to ask for your help. My family consists of 17 people, including 10 children, who are in urgent need of shelter, food, and medical care. Your support will bring much-needed relief and hope as we continue to fight for safety and survival in these devastating circumstances.
Please help them! The 10 children in Mahmoud's family constantly suffer from constant stomachaches and diarrhea due to eating contaminated food as there is no food in Gaza!
Moreover, there are also 3 babies in Mahmoud's family! The youngest of them, baby Meryem, was only born a few months ago during this genocidal war! Mahmoud's sister almost lost her life giving birth due to the lack of medical resources available! While she survived, she is still suffering form the many infections caused by the difficult birth!

I have been contacted by Mohammed Hijazi's sister (@save-amal-family) who is really worried about her father. The Israeli forces shot her father in the neck, and he needs a surgery to save his life! His injury is very serious. Other than treating the injury in his neck, he also need another surgery for his backbone! He needs to have his surgery asap or else he will be paralyzed from the neck down and may die! Medical treatment is urgently needed, but it is very expensive due to the limited medical capacity and the skyrocketing prices of resources in Gaza! Your donations are of utmost important to her father's survival!!
That is in addition to the cost of the high prices of daily necessities, like food and clean water! The surgery itself costs $4000, and they still have other expenses to worry about! With the high cost of living in Gaza due to the genocide, Mohammed's family cannot afford the surgery to save his father's life!

the southern appalachians are facing catastrophic damage after hurricane helene, what people have been calling a thousand-year storm. the region will forever be changed by this event. entire towns have been washed away, there are currently no open roads out of much of the region, and power and cell signal is scattered.
across the southeast people have been running supply drives and fundraising to get aid into the affected areas. mutualaiddisasterrelief and mergoat.mag on instagram are currently platforming a lot of supply drives and updates. please also check their posts if you’re not in the southeast- there’s lots of groups accepting donations right now to fund supplies for people on the ground.
many places are totally inaccessible with little to no cell service so things are only going to be worse once we reconnect and receive news from those communities. they will need all the help we can give
