Sunset Shimmer is an Alicorn: DEBUNKED

Welcome back to another theory DEBUNKED!

This time, we're going into the realm of My Little Pony. The good one. And I have a theory for you. It used to be nothing, but then it became kinda huge. So, I'm here to DEBUNK it.

The Theory

The theory is that Sunset Shimmer...is an alicorn.

Point Debunking

Time to DEBUNK some points!

My Past is Not Today

This song is what mainly got people questioning this theory. Mainly just one part:

But people are really taking this out of proportion. You do realise Sunset's main thing is fire, right? So that means that what is happening is...a Phoenix. It's a Phoenix guys. She is rising from the ashes, or rising from her past. This has nothing to do with being an Alicorn. You know what does? What happened to Twilight in the first movie:

Daydream Shimmer

And now we have this. In the 3rd EG movie, Sunset Shimmer becomes Daydream Shimmer to combat the dark forces of Midnight Sparkle. People thought that she became an Alicorn because of this. And I'm here to say no way.

First off, do you think Human Twilight became an Alicorn? No. You don't become one by doing bad stuff like that. And guess what? Human Twilight was the same as Sunset, except Sunset was doing good stuff.

Also, this transformation had nothing to do with being an Alicorn! Again, remember how Pony Twi looked?

She Deserves to be One

XD No...no she doesn't. She does not need to be an Alicorn. First off, we have what happened in her past. But we can forgive that just like Luna was forgiven.

Secondly, it just wouldn't fit her. Sunset wants to stay in the human world. That's all good, but what would being an Alicorn do?

And third, how the heck would she even become one? Celestia has to make her one, or she has to be born one. And since she wasn't born one, Celestia has to make her an Alicorn. How would she be able to make Sunset one? Yeah, didn't think you had an answer.
