Hey guys, what's up! I am back again, once again, with another team discussion (couldn't make that rhyme). This time I am traveling through the Johto region! FYI: I'm not talking about in the actual game. I'm talking about if I were actually traveling in the region like in the anime, where a Pokemon's in game stats are irrelevant
#1-Typhlosion
What can I say, I love Fire types! And having a Typhlosion around would be fairly similar to raising a Charizard. They have the exact same stat distribution. Typhlosion would be a fantastic battler using moves like Flamethrower and Flame Wheel. And I would brush it's fur after every battle to keep it in top shape!
#2-Noctowl
I personally really like Noctowl, I always thought it looked cool. Probably because I really like Owls in general. Noctowl would be a viable battler by flying around and firing moves like Psychic, Air Slash, and Shadow Ball. And being an Owl, it would be extremely useful at navigating me through the forest at the dead of night.
#3-Ampharos
I have used Ampharos so many damn times in Soul Silver, and every time it worked wonders. It's obvious that it is my favorite Electric type. It's very cute and friendly, so it would be a great companion. And with it's glowing tail, it can light up dark areas to make it easier to see. And just like any other Pokemon, it's a formidable battler. Using powerful moves like Thunderbolt, Power Gem and Signal Beam. And Flash to temporarily blind the opponent and then following up with an attack
#4-Scizor
I'm also a big fan of Bug types. Since I used Scyther in my journey through Kanto, why not raise another one and evolve it in Johto? Scizor would be the heavy hitter on my team. Using Agility to zoom every which way to make it harder to hit, and using strong moves like X-Scissor, Metal Claw, and Silver Wind. It would be my to go to Pokemon in a tight situation.
#5-Sandslash
I absolutely love Sandslash. It's a mix of both cute and cool looking. It makes good use of it's claws and spikes in a battle. With moves like Dig, Slash, and Pin Missle it would do some good damage. And with Defense Curl it can stand up to the opponent's attacks better. Sandslash would also be useful at digging to find exits inside of caves or finding hidden items that could be useful.
#6-Tentacruel
For a such common Pokemon to find, it's actually pretty good. I love this thing, my favorite Kanto Water type. Obviously Tentacruel would be my source of transportation across water. And using it's long tentacles it can reach objects that I normally can't reach. These tentacles would also be useful in battle, such as using Constrict to immobilize the opponent and then firing a Hydro Pump or Poison Sting.
Well, there's my Johto team! Feel free to discuss yours in the comments or even better, make your own post!

Ohh cool! I like that u are putting Kanto mons too, I hadn't really thought of that. I still may only put Pokémon exclusive to that gen in each of mine cause it matches how I play an actual Pokémon game
