I know that back in the day the Legiones Astartes had both of them in a mobile form (I’ll include their images at the end compared to the current Imperial Guard versions) so why did they stop using them? Clearly they can still make them by the thousands and the astartes do have Missile Artillery in the form of the Whirlwind. So why don’t they use Basilisks who are pound for pound better than the Whirlwind? Their still mobile, they have greater range than a Whirlwind so that’s better, and they pack far more power. (S7 Missile compared to S9 Shell) so I don’t see a reason not to bring it.

I mean, the SM roster is already huge and they have a few artillery pieces such as the Whirlwind. It wouldn't be fair with they having this much options.
Uh, Space Marine Roster is huge? The Imperial Guard has BY FAR the most units in the game. Not to mention, the Whirlwind is just a 2D3 Autocannon.

Considering the Astra Militarun get it for 108 and Can jusf spam these things worse than the Leman Russ. I would tend to disagree
