BOOK APPEARANCES
Appeared In Darkstalker (Legends)

Queen Lagoon was an adult female SeaWing and ruler to her tribe alongside King Humpback. They were both killed in the Royal SeaWing Massacre by Albatross, whom she had resented many years for brutally maiming their sister, Sapphire. She also had a daughter, Princess Splash, who was also killed in the massacre.

Appearance

Queen Lagoon was mentioned to be nearly a neck-length shorter than Albatross, with blue wings and sapphire-colored scales. She wears a silver bracelet with blue sapphires.

Personality

Queen Lagoon has been shown to be haughty and full of poise, referring to Indigo as a "low-born purple dragonet." She is also rather selfish, as she used both Albatross' and Fathom's powers for her own needs. She kept Albatross under her control for many years, forcing him to create whatever she desired with his magic. This is probably why Albatross went insane. It was said in Darkstalker (Legends) that she ordered Indigo to hunt in the middle of the night because the palace had run out of her favorite snack. This shows that Lagoon was selfish and actually quite lazy, and it shows that she doesn’t care much about other dragons. She also talked to Indigo as if she was a servant. She was also said to be skilled at negotiating peace.

Biography

Darkstalker (Legends)

Queen Lagoon is first seen at a beach near the Island Palace with Albatross for the purpose of testing all of the two-year-old SeaWings for animus magic. She sternly reminds Indigo not to disrupt the process, as she is playfully flicking sand onto Fathom. After a brief quarrel with Albatross, she watches as her brother pulls several coconuts out of nearby palm trees with his magic, instructing the dragonets to pick up their coconuts. After ordering their coconuts to fly through the air to Albatross, Fathom is confirmed an animus as his coconut strikes his grandfather in the chest. She congratulates him in a rather sly manner, as she wants to use his power for her own needs instead of the Kingdom's.

She is later shown hosting a fancy party intended to negotiate with the SkyWings, as there had been conflict over their shared border. She welcomes the two SkyWing delegates, Sunset and Eagle, displaying an enchanted fountain as proof of her tribe's animus power. After Albatross finally appeared, she scolded him for being late, and in response he slit her throat, killing her moments later.

Trivia

· Chronologically, Queen Lagoon is the first named SeaWing queen in Pyrrhia's history.

· She was the sister of the first known SeaWing animus, Prince Albatross, and the aunt of the second known SeaWing animus, Prince Fathom.

· Queen Lagoon shares a name with Lagoon, Queen Coral’s cook, who lied to her about keeping The Dragonets of Destiny fed.

· It's possible that Queen Lagoon, along with her sister, are pure-blooded SeaWings since their physical appearance doesn't hint any IceWing heritage, nor do they have animus powers.

· If this is true that would make Albatross her (and Sapphire's) half-brother.

· Queen Lagoon is the first dragon to be killed in the Royal SeaWing Massacre.
