I really like this traveler mug, it has a nice color and texture to it, which makes it unique to others I've used prior. In addition, I got the commuter lid as I use it everyday as a coffee mug & functions well. To further improve it, I recommend that they would add a non-slip base.- Great product by S'well!

    I bought this bottle to keep my iced cappuccino cold, drink one everyday at work but after 2 hours, it gets all watery! Used this bottle to hold it and it lasts the whole day! From 9 to 5, sometimes if I can't finish, I bring it home and leave the whole bottle in the fridge. I tested it out, if I don't leave the bottle in the fridge, it'll be watery the next morning. If I leave it in the fridge, it's good for over 2 days (not completely icy though, maybe half watery) but it does more than expected. Only tried it with hot once, after 2 hours it was still hot but I don't drink hot beverage so I have not left it long enough to test the time it lasts. Another great thing I like is that the surface of the bottle is matte, the paint does NOT chip. I have other S'well bottles (the long neck one) with shiny finish and 2 bottles of another brand. Only after the 1st use, some pain surface already chipped. After 5 uses, I put them away because it looks ugly on the outside with bald paint spots. This bottle lasts so far, been using it for a few months now, not even a single scratch and the surface is still smooth and clean just like brand new. I must say this is a big surprise, very happy overall.

    Brought these mugs to the bakery in the morning when buying my morning coffees and fresh bread, handed these to the clerks instead of using their takeout cups and tray (that end up as waste).     This Swell bottle is very attractive, and it functions well. My beverages stay hot or cold for hours and hours when the lid is closed, Even with the lid open it keeps things warm for a reasonable amount of time - certainly much more than a conventional mug would. I love the wide mouth, but it's still tricky to clean. The interior surface and the (removable) rubber seal on the lid seem to hold onto coffee oil. You might have better luck with a bottle brush or if you buy the Swell bottle cleaner. It's a shame, because this is an excellent thermal option otherwise. The one other caveat is that it's not the best option for drinking from while you're walking or on transit, as the wide mouth makes spilling easy.

    it fits well in my little backpack and holds a bit more than enough water to sustain me from each location I go to that I'm able to refill it (example, commute from work). It's fine that I have to refill it multiple times a day because I'd prefer that over lugging around a giant water bottle I only have to fill once or twice a day. I don't like the original swell bottles, the tall skinny ones, because their hard to fully clean inside. Whereas this one has the wide mouth and body to easily clean. It keeps my water cold for a long time, I even left it in the sun and it got so hot on the outside but was still cold in the inside! fave water bottle out of 3 others I've tried over the years.

    I knew I was going to love this before I bought it because my roommate has a similar one. What sold me was the outer coating. I see a lot of metal coffee tumblers and water bottles that chip, but this one doesn’t seem to have this problem because of the textured coating. I also bought one in a smaller size for a Christmas present for my sister. She had also seen my friends, the same as I did, and wanted one after that. The opening is good for ice as well. I also have a Klean Kanteen tumbler, which I use sometimes, but sometimes I can feel the warmth escaping from the top of the lid, but I don’t feel that with this S’well one. The only thing I prefer on my Klean Kanteen is the loop at the top for clipping it to things. I still use it for hot drinks when travelling, but use the S’well one on the daily.

    the wide mouth is perfect for coffee and other drinks. well insulated. the wide mouth also makes it easy to clean. the only downside is that it is a little tricky cleaning the grooves in the lid since it's pretty small/tight - I normally use a straw cleaner to get in between the edge of the lid and the rubber part
