Pros: It is a real set of SWANSON speed squares! Comes with handy instruction booklet. Very sturdy and rigid metal for years of tough service in construction fields and trustworthy accuracy.
You can use it as a SAW guide for quick short cuts angled or straight with something like a battery powered skill saw with good accuracy.
CONS: Like any super duper handy tool, there is a learning curve to get the most out of it. I strongly recommend watching a few videos and learn what you need most first. I did find some minor casting defects in my smaller square that came in the set but the defects are purely cosmetic so I did not contact the seller. It would have been nice for their QC to catch this one and reject it before it made it out the door.
