With practice it’s a great stamp set.
I used this to stamp a message on a tag as a gift. Perfect for my purposes, just a little hard to use at times. The stamps like to sort of stick together in the box, but I am overall satisfied with my purchase and will be using these stamps to write everyone’s name on their place card for my wedding reception.With just a little practice you can get the hang of using these stamps for your projects. Some stamps are not cut perfectly, for example the small o is right on the left edge of the stamp so I have to stamp it a little farther away from the previous letter to format it properly. And both the lower and upper case w seem a little smaller than other letters. I like the personality this gives my projects, however. :)

    I have recently gotten into paper crafts and just started using stamps in my crafting. I wanted a set of the alphabet and numbers. It comes in a cute retro typewriter font with upper and lower case letters and numbers and punctuations. I like that this set comes in a box, and it has a latch to keep it closed.     I was looking for a stamp set to use in my mixed-media art and this sweet little set fits the bill. Perhaps they should be advertised as "vintage typewriter style letters" as that describes these letters/symbols well and is exactly the look I wanted. I was not looking for perfect/aligned letters for "serious" printing (one reviewer mentioned buying them to address wedding invitations - I would NOT purchase these stamps for that task). The letters are NOT all centered perfectly on each block, however, the rubber part of the stamps fit the wood stamp base exactly and they are all attached well. It looks like you might be able to remove the rubber stamp from the wood base if you did want to remount the stamp for some reason but I don't anticipate a problem with the rubber part pulling away from the wood part. The stamps fit perfectly into the cute little wooden box and the box is well constructed - the clasp and hinges are firmly attached with small screws. At less than 15 cents per stamp, these stamps are a great value and I will use them often.

    A bit smaller than expected- but not an issue for me. Wood part of stamps are long- 1 1/2 inches. they are only 1/4 inch by 3/8 inch rectangular. Very small to hold- great for little hands though (my 3 year old loves them). The stamp part itself is affixed to the wooden block by some sort of double sided foam (very thin). This is plus if you ever need to re- affix the stamp- could be considered small parts so be mindful when using with very young children. The case is nice- however, the separation pieces (long flat pieces of wood) make it very difficult to reclose the box. I simply removed the long flat pieces of wood on the lid portion (they just slide out). Makes closing so much easier. I do still have to jiggle the box around as I close it though, and as it was meant for my toddler, it can be difficult for her to close. This is the only reason for the missing star, and it is not a big issue at all. Great for price, and I love the wood pieces and the box. My little one Loves to use these for making letters.

    but they still worked out amazingly well. This is the first alphabet stamp set that I've purchased so I wasn't sure what to expect. I do like the fact that they came in a box so it makes storing them so easy. The box can sit out on your crafting table since it's pretty enough to do so.
    The only downside I "might" encounter yet is I'm not sure how strong the letters are glued to the piece of wood. So, I might have to reglue them eventually but I haven't had to do so yet
